PROS
We liked that the acrylic is nice and thick so it doesn’t give off a cheap plastic vibe. It’s durable and sturdy. Drawers open smoothly and provide ample storage for a medium-sized makeup collection.
Each drawer also has removable black mesh padding that helps keep smaller makeup items like eyeliner or mascara from moving around when you open the drawers. The top portion of this stackable unit is ideal for items that you’d prefer to stand upright such as your foundation or tube of primer.
It’s also great for holding tubes of lipstick and nail polish. Should you spill powder or bronzer on it, this makeup organizer is easy to clean too. At $17.99, it’s a good price for a good makeup organizer.
CONS
For some with large collections of makeup, this might not be sufficient space. The dimensions are 9 3/8″w x 5 3/8″d x 7 1/4″h, so if you have a lot to organize, this one won’t do it. The 4 drawers (2 smaller ones and 2 larger ones) aren’t intensely deep either. While it’s not a bad product, if your makeup collection is as large as ours and that makeup collection contains large palettes of eye shadow (like our favorite Urban Decay Naked collections), you’ll need an additional organizer to accompany this one.

PROS
We liked that this 3-piece stackable makeup organizer comes with more drawers than the first product we reviewed. The bottom drawer is the deepest one and can easily fit a container of loose face powder without any issues. There are 6 smaller drawers and one long but less deep drawer that sits above the deep bottom drawer.
On top, you’ll find plenty of clear cubes to stand your foundation, lipstick, perfume, brushes, and anything else in. Nail polish can fit in there too but if you have lots of them, putting them in a separate makeup organizer might be best.
The interlocking design allows you to arrange the makeup organizer as you wish and even order additional organizers to stack with it. As with the first model we reviewed, you’ll find removable black mesh padding to keep your cosmetics or jewelry in place. The price of $26.99 is also very reasonable. However, if you prefer it come in a different style, they have it available in tawny for $29.99.
CONS
When it comes to the 6 smaller drawers, their dimensions of them are not always ideal for longer items like mascara or eye pencils. You can stand them in the top portion but if you have a lot of these things, it will quickly be overrun by them.
Also, larger palettes of makeup can be accommodated only if you have one or two of them. If you’re like us, you have more than that so you might need to seek out an additional makeup organizer to help you house all of your makeup collection. With dimensions of 9.4 x 7.5 x 5.3 inches, it’s not a great deal larger than the first item we reviewed either.

This transparent makeup organizer is compact and easy to clean. It’s also stackable, but how does it stack up to the previous products we’ve reviewed?
PROS
The top portion of this makeup organizer has some open spaces that can accommodate a few larger makeup palettes or other larger items. The open spaces allow you to arrange your cosmetics in any way you wish, making it more flexible in regards to what you can fit in there.
The drawers are lined with removable black mesh padding which is easy to clean and helps keep items in place when you open the drawers. The price is low too, at just $14.89. However, these are the only good things about this makeup organizer.
CONS
This makeup organizer feels a little less sturdy and professional than the other products we looked at. It’s also a great deal smaller with a small drawer compartment of 3 13/16″ x 4 7/8″ x 1 3/16″H and a big drawer compartment of 8 3/8″ x 4 7/8″ x 1 3/16″H.
There was also some slippage with the drawers, making it a bit of a struggle to open and close them efficiently each time. True that the mesh padding will keep your makeup from rolling all over the drawers, but it’s a little frustrating to wrestle with something that you purchased to help you.

Unique Home’s larger 3-piece set made of clear acrylic is a sturdy and durable option for makeup enthusiasts everywhere.
PROS
This is a much more functional version of the first makeup organizer we reviewed. It’s high quality and features much more space to organize your makeup. It’s also larger at 12 x 11 x 6.7 inches. The open section on the top allows you more flexibility when putting larger items that won’t fit into the drawers. On this version of Unique Home’s makeup organizer, you’ll find 6 drawers. Two of those drawers are smaller while the other 4 are long and can accommodate some of those makeup palettes. The removable black mesh grip pads inside the drawers keep your makeup in place too. The price is nice at $24.99 for something that offers sturdy organization for a big makeup enthusiast.
CONS
The only downside to this makeup organizer that we found was that the drawers were not incredibly deep. However, with an open layout on the top that allows you to organize larger items as you wish, it more than makes up for it.
5. Sorbus Acrylic Cosmetics Makeup and Jewelry Storage Case Display Sets
The interlocking drawers on this 3-piece acrylic makeup organizer make it easy for you to design it your way. Stackable and interchangeable, it also allows you to add on more pieces as your collection of makeup grows.
What we really liked about this makeup organizer is that the drawers are unlike any of the other makeup organizers we’ve reviewed. While it has 6 drawers, there are multiple sizes of them. One is large enough to fit items like loose powder with ease while longer ones can easily hold makeup palettes.
There’s also open space on the top portion of this 3-piece set so you can arrange your larger cosmetics however you desire. Additionally, you can easily order more pieces that will fit perfectly with these 3 pieces in order to expand your makeup collection.
The size is comparable to the 3-piece set by Unique Home at 11.75” L x 11.75” H x 6.75” W, however, the design is better in our opinion, allowing for more functionality.
CONS
While we really like this makeup organizer, it is more expensive than the others at $41.99. It also doesn’t come with any mesh grippers in the drawers so smaller items may roll around when you open and close the drawers.
6. Sorbus Acrylic Cosmetics Makeup and Jewelry Storage Case Display
This version of the acrylic makeup organizer by Sorbus is similar to the last Sorbus makeup organizer we reviewed. It also has interlocking drawers but is larger with 4 stackable and interchangeable organizers that you can arrange to your liking and add on to when you expand your makeup collection.
PROS
We really liked the other Sorbus makeup organizer. That is until we tried this one. It’s one of the largest ones we’ve seen too at 15.25” L x 11.75” H x 6.75” W. On the top organizer, you get 16 compartments plus a small drawer. On the next organizer, you’ll find 2 deep square drawers.
On the third one, there are 4 smaller square drawers. The fourth organizer has one large and long rectangular drawer. All of this gives you plenty of room for a fairly large makeup collection before the need to order more organizers to expand it.
We absolutely loved that there was a nook and cranny for everything in our collection, making it easy to organize all of our makeup items, even the taller and longer items.
CONS
There are no rubber grippers in the drawers though, which leads to some rolling around of items. But honestly, if you have a lot of makeup when you fill those drawers, the makeup items will keep each other from shifting about. The price on this is more expensive than the other makeup organizers we’ve looked at too, $45.99. However, the quality and the features of this makeup organizer make it worth the price.

This handy 7-drawer cube storage makes for the modern and easy organization of makeup. Made of heavy-duty acrylic, it’s sturdy and incredibly functional.
PROS
There is a lot to love about this makeup organizer. The cute cube shape compartmentalizes everything. There’s a lid on top that can open up completely so you don’t have to close it up if you don’t want to, making the top portion of the cube very versatile. Rubber markers on the bottom prevent it from sliding on your vanity or bathroom counter which keeps it in place.
The knobs on the drawers are classier than other makeup organizers we’ve reviewed. Best of all, the bottom drawer is intensely deep, allowing for plenty of room for those larger makeup items you have.
The dimensions of this makeup organizer cube are 25L x 25W x 45H, making it large enough for the biggest makeup fans out there. It also comes with a full money-back guarantee should it not knock your socks right off. Beyond that, should this one be too small for you, there are larger versions of this cube that you can order, the largest of which features 10 drawers.
CONS
We loved this makeup organizer cube for its simple yet completely functional design that fulfilled our makeup organizational dreams. However, it is the most expensive one we looked at. The larger versions of this increase in price as well, with the 10-drawer cube costing $28.95.
If you’re not willing or able to spend that kind of money, this makeup organizer cube is not for you. Also, it cannot be expanded upon like the other makeup organizers we reviewed, but if you buy the right-sized one for your needs, it will likely be the only makeup organizer you’ll ever need.

This clear makeup organizer features large capacity spaces to house your larger makeup palettes, makeup brushes, and everything in between.
PROS
For the makeup junkie that has large makeup palettes, this is a great solution. Each compartment is different in size, allowing for you to group your palettes together in one section, brushes in another, and so on.
It’s a decent size at 12-3/8″L x 6-7/8″W x 6″H and can be easily cleaned should you spill your powder into it. The price of $19.97 makes it an affordable makeup organizing solution.
CONS
Unlike the other makeup organizers we reviewed, this one does not come with any other drawers or compartments. It also is not stackable with other organizers though you could probably place it on top of something.
There are no rubber grips on the bottom though so it has the potential to slide if you don’t have it pushed back against the wall of your vanity. While this may be the ideal solution for those with large makeup palettes or those with a smaller collection of makeup, the major makeup enthusiasts will not be enthused by this makeup organizer.

This boxy option for makeup organization is clear so it’s easy to see the items you have inside. Featuring 4 large drawers and 2 small drawers, it is durable in design and heft, making it a worthy option to consider for makeup storage.
PROS
Inside the drawers of this makeup organizer box, you’ll find removable black mesh pads that keep your makeup from moving around when you open and close drawers. The dimensions of 11 1/4″ x 9 1/2″ x 6 1/4″ offer a good size for a basic makeup collection to be stored within.
CONS
Many makeup lovers will balk at this design which features no removable top so that you can place taller items on there. It’s simply a box of 6 drawers, and while some of the drawers do offer a bit of depth, they are not deep enough for tall tubes of foundation or bottles of perfume to stand upright.
We like having the ability to stand up items on the top portion of the makeup organizer and because we cannot do so with this model, we weren’t a fan. Also, the price of $24.99 isn’t the greatest when other makeup organizers we reviewed had more abundant features and space for us to work with.

It has 2 larger drawers and 2 smaller ones that are lined with rubber mesh to prevent sliding, along with a section on top that offers different-shaped compartments for holding lipsticks, brushes, and taller tubes of makeup. It comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee and currently is priced at a special price of $19.99 though the regular price is $50.
CONS
There is no mention of how long this item will last at the lower price. Additionally, the makeup mirror that comes with it, though a very nice touch, isn’t the best quality. You’re much better off finding a quality makeup mirror separately than counting on the one that comes with this makeup organizer. Also, at the original price of $50, buying this makeup organizer would not be worth it at all because there is no way to add more pieces to expand it with nor is it large enough to contain a bigger makeup collection.
Our Recommendation
Because we have a large makeup collection, we felt that the N2 Makeup Co. Acrylic Makeup Organizer Cube was the best makeup organizer that we reviewed. While the price is the highest of them all, especially if you choose a larger version of it, it is sturdy, durable, functional, and will be the only makeup organizer you’ll ever need.
Although you can’t add on to it with other sections, buying the proper size that allows you to expand your collection will alleviate you from ever needing to buy more makeup organizers.
We liked that the top lid could extend completely behind the cube unit, leaving it open on top to show off our favorite perfumes and tubes of coveted makeup items. We also liked that the drawers were big and deep, capable of holding plenty of jars and containers, as well as big makeup palettes.
If you’re not fully into makeup, you can get away with buying a makeup organizer that is much smaller and priced more affordably, like the larger compartment item we reviewed.
However, if you plan on expanding your collection at any time from smaller to larger, you may find that purchasing a makeup organizer that you can build upon by ordering related interchangeable pieces is the ideal solution for your makeup organizing needs.
For us, the cube provides plenty of room for adding more palettes and other items to our makeup collection without running out of space. It’s also very attractive and clean-looking, making it a design that works well with just about any kind of décor.
When it comes to makeup organizers, finding one that fits your needs, as well as your budget, is what is most important. Before purchasing a makeup organizer, be sure to go through your entire makeup collection and toss out anything that you’ve had since middle school. We’re pretty sure you’re not ever going to use that Wet n’ Wild blue eye shadow you’ve had since you were 16, so get rid of it.
Instead, focus on what is relevant in your collection and what you’re likely going to buy in the future to round it out. By getting a real handle on what makeup you have and what makeup you’ll probably purchase, you’ll have a better idea of which makeup organizer can best meet your needs.

Keep in mind though that if you choose to go for the makeup organizers that allow for interchanging pieces and adding on to them that you will be spending more than the lower price you’re budgeting for, perhaps not immediately but somewhere down the line.
If that is the case, you may find that spending it all in one go on one sturdy piece like the makeup organizer cube that we love is the best and most affordable option for you. It’s something you won’t need to replace and will hold up through every makeup phase you go through, even if that phase happens to include copious amounts of glitter.
